Senior Business Controller

Within Corporate Energy Solutions, we offer solutions to corporate customers. We offer everything from electricity contracts to solar cells, heat solutions, energy efficiency services and mobility solutions, to our customers located in most industrial segments. We cater for the individual customer's needs and tailor everything from product to communication and we help our corporate customers to be competitive and sustainable.
Finance Corporate Energy Solutions
Finance Corporate Energy Solutions is responsible for financial steering, performance reporting and energy controlling within the Corporate Energy Solutions business.
As Senior Business Controller you are a key player in developing the business within your area. You use your extensive controlling skills and high business understanding to enhance business performance when searching for financial excellence. You are an appreciated finance counterpart to the operational business and you are always on the move to find new ways to improve. You have a wide variety of contacts within the operational business as well as within the finance community in Sweden and COO-C. You report to the Finance Manager and work close to the Business Managers within your business area.
The role Senior Business Controller includes responsibility for:
- Performance monitoring and analysis based on operational KPIs
- KPI reporting and development of dashboards
- Financial planning, budgeting and forecasting
- Support in closing activities and actuals reporting
- Providing finance expertise and support to the operational business
- Providing finance expertise in development projects
- Assure high quality in investment proposals and business cases
- Take active part in investment boards and steering groups in order to drive better decisions making
- Risk analysis and risk reporting
- Challenging the business and drive business improvements
- Continuously improving analysis tools, reporting, controlling processes and systems
- Ad-hoc analysis and creation of presentation material based on management need
The role is located in Malmö.
In order to be successful in the role as Senior Business Controller it's important that you have very strong analytical skills and an ability to capture, understand, interlink and evaluate information which is relevant for the business you work with. You have good customer and market knowledge and an ability to balance customer needs and corporate interests. You can identify root causes to problems and you can find and drive improvements. Your presentation and communications skills in English and Swedish or Danish and ability to present complex matters in a simple way are excellent, both verbally and written. We expect you to have a university degree within Finance or similar and a proven track record within finance / controlling with excellent performance. Experience from the business that you will support is a big merit.

You build credibility related to you as a person and to finance as a function through good cooperation and teamwork with colleagues within the business as well as within finance. You share information, handle different ideas and perspectives and promote a feedback culture. You are open for new ideas and you drive change in order to implement continuous improvements.
In addition, we expect you to have a senior personality with an ability to identify what really matters, and experience in driving change. You also have high business understanding, an ability to see the big picture combined with high planning and organizing capability and very good knowledge of financial processes and systems.
