Vattenfall is now looking for a Senior Business Controller for our Business unit E-Mobility. As Senior Business controller in Business unit E-Mobility you will contribute to set and achieve ambitious targets for the future for our growing business.
Main purpose of the position:
The Senior Business control position is pivotal in securing a holistic and excellent financial and performance planning and reporting of BU E-Mobility as well as suitable financial analyses and decision support. Furthermore you are expected to act as a senior advisor towards the Business unit (BU) Controller of E-Mobility and support and provide advice in specific or over-arching BU controlling topics including the overall financial governance and steering of BU E-Mobility.
Key responsibilities, deliverables and activities:
• Drive and execute business planning, forecasting and follow-up process of BU
• Support plan-to-perform process steering and governance within BU
• Ad-hoc analysis on financials and performance
• Management reporting and KPI monitoring
• Govern and maintain the Financial model
• Continuously review and secure reporting quality*
• As senior advisor to BU Controller support, challenge and Influence BU controlling governance, act as a sounding board and run specific improvement initiatives or analysis work
• Senior Member of virtual Business Control team for E-mobility
• Finance Business Support function is responsible for accounting and record-to-report processes
As Senior Business Controller E-Mobility you report to the Director of Business Control Cross Border who is also accountable for the overall controlling support for BU E-Mobility and acting as its BU Controller.
Examples of ad hoc decision support includes but is not limited to reviewing business cases and stepping in as finance representative and advisor in various projects. Furthermore you support the BU controller by being a Liaison between business and compliance on e.g. related topics, risks, controls, audits and mandates.
You will continuously contribute to the development of the plan-to-perform processes, management reporting and other finance topics via our virtual business control team as well as securing governance, development and maintenance of our financial model on a tactical level.
Your Profile and personal skills:
Ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience within Business controlling, Business administration or Commercial project management with a Bachelor's degree in Business administration or similar education. Experience from utility business is a strong merit.
You are a team player with great analytical skills with an eye for details. Your excel and presentation skills are very strong and your mindset is proactive, constructive and solution oriented.
