General responsibilities:
• Builds and maintains strong client relationships and provides client advice.
• From a business and system requirement perspective: support design, development, testing, deployment and transition into operation, when required.
• Designs functional solutions for clients.
• Elicits detailed business and system requirements from business owners and stakeholders.
• Writes (or assists the technical writer in production of) operational and user documentation including release notes. Ensures operational and user documentation is accurate and complete.
• Provides user training on new functionality and handles user queries regarding system functionality.
• Responds to unresolved production support issues and participates in analysis and resolution on behalf of the business.
• Under limited supervision, provides input into project schedule, risks, scope of work and budget.
• Assumes technical role in bid activities, design studies and RFI/RFP related work.
• Ensures that operational teams and subcontractors have a clear understanding of client requirements.
• Promotes the organization's capabilities to clients, identifies sales opportunities to be forwarded to the account managers, and achieves contract extensions or additional business within the account(s).

NASDAQ is currently looking for a Senior Business Analyst, based in Stockholm. As a senior business analyst you will act as the interface between the clients and the IT organization by translating business processes and needs into detailed functional requirements. As an expert within the field you will give qualified advice and suggest solution alternatives to our clients. In addition, you will ensure that the team of developers and testers has a clear understanding of the clients' requirements.

Education, Professional accomplishments, and Certifications:
• Education Required: Degree qualified in Computer Science, Business/Finance or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience Required: 6 to 8 years.

Skills, Requirements and Competencies:
• Documented experience with client interfacing
• Good understanding of industry related standards and regulation.
• Previous technical experience is an advantage
• Excellent language skills in written and spoken English, Swedish would be a merit
• Highly developed social competence and strong communication skills

On a personal level, we expect that would have high developed social competence and strong communication skills. You must be able to work independently and be quality focused. We anticipate that you are persistent in solving complex problems with the available resources, and have an analytical and result-oriented approach. It will be essential for you easily adapt and transition between the business and the technology sides. You will need to be "hands on" in your approach and enjoy a fast pace working environment. Further, you will be committed and customer focused. The position requires occasional travelling.
