Role description
As an Automation Engineer, you will, together with a team of skilled engineers, have overall responsibility for the automation processes. You will work in a highly automated machine park towards production and upcoming industrialization projects.
Among other things, you will work on:
• Improving and streamlining existing processes
• Providing support during the industrialization of new processes and production equipment
• PLC, Vision, and Robot systems
• Future work methods and strategies including industry 4.0
• Agile working methods according to SCRUM with 2-week sprints
• Providing support during software updates / Troubleshooting
Who are we looking for:
We believe that you are a person with very good knowledge of automation technology to be the expert and support for production in the organization.
To succeed in the role, we would like you to have some of these in your background:
• Experience in Automation, PLC, Servoapplikations, Vison systems etc.
• Knowledge of networks
• Knowledge of Industry 4.0 working methods and equipment
• Proficient in English both spoken and written, Swedish is preferred but not mandatory
• Experience working with one or more of the following system providers: PLC (Omron), servo applications (Festo), robots (Omron and ABB), and vision systems (Cognex)
You are a person who:
• Is curious and eager to stay updated on the latest technology
• Enjoys working with people
• Is self-driven and proactive
