Do you want to work with Ruby? Do you also want to be a part of DEK Technologies' modern and international work environment, with more than 18 different nationalities, at the Swedish office? Then we have an exciting job opportunity for you!
We are looking for talented Ruby developers. You can be a senior developer already or a newly graduated engineer aspiring to become one. You will join one of our cross-functional teams on a new assignment within Fintech and work according to Lean and Agile methods.
The team is responsible for end-to-end product development including design, implementation, test and documentation.
Your profile
We are curious about your experiences and passion for Ruby and/or Ruby on Rails. Our technical environment is mostly focused on programming in C++, Java, Erlang and Python in various assignments. We are characterized by an active learning culture and we encourage our consultants to continuously update their technical skills and learn new technologies. If you are experienced and open to work with these programming languages you will fit right in. We seek you who has acquired an BS or MS in Software Engineering, Computer Science, IT or relevant subjects and is fluent in English for oral and written communication.
To be successful in this position you must be self-motivated with a big initiative capacity and drive. You must also have strong analytical skills with a keen eye towards finding solutions. Because of our multicultural team environment, it's essential to have excellent communication skills and to be a team player. Your technical skills and personality should go hand in hand when you work towards your team and our company's success. It is beneficial to have either experience as a Scrum Master or knowledge about agile thinking.
