Senior Accountant
You are an excellent accountant but you also possess the skill of looking beyond the numbers, seeing the overall picture. You have the capability to switch focus from the details to the big picture and respond to changing priorities. You are passionate about solving accounting related questions and challenges.

Responsibilities and tasks
Strategic perspective
* Help in implementing strategies and assisting in building a basis to aid efficiency and transparency
* Strive towards the goal of building a modern and agile finance department
* Act as the link between our Finance department and the Service provider (for service deliveries within your responsibility areas), Be part of evaluating service delivery and quality and Asses and act upon options for possible changes in Service scope
Accounting and Quality
* Responsible for the Monthly, Quarterly and Annual closing process
* Responsible for Annual reports, Tax declarations, Government reporting
* Responsible for Accounting Quality improvements
Involved in drafting Processes and managing Risks
Work with cost follow up and variance analysisAssisting in preparing Management reports and presentations when applicable
Assist in Internal and External Audits * Assist and aid in Audits of other Group companies
* Assist in evaluating accounting of Investments and Assets, ensure compliance with Local and Group standards
Finance Infrastructure
* Involved in accounting related Policies, Processes and Routines development and improvement
* Involved in drafting, implementing and maintaining a Finance manual
Systems
* Involved in drafting Business and System requirements on, and by, the Finance function
* Masterdata optimization
Ad hoc
* Ad hoc tasks aiding the establishment and growth of our function and business
* Participate in financial Projects (system implementations, investigating EU-market roll-out effects on accounting etc)
* Cooperate with our service provider within the areas of AP, AR and Accounting to continuously improve service quality, efficiency, transparency, and ensure that delivery is in line with accounting standards (on a non-strategic level)
Profile and background
University degree, MBA or equivalent and several years of work experience within accounting
Excellent communication skills. Fluency in English - both oral and written.
Below experiences are key for the role and therefore preferable, please make sure to comment on them in your application!
* Experience from Asset accounting, Investment handling, Amortization questions etc
* IFRS and GAAP knowledge is desirable, K3 experience an advantage
* Accounting in an international context
* Preferably experience from IT - projects, system implementations
This position reports directly to the Director Financial Reporting, Lynk & Co.
The position is based in Gothenburg. Limited travel might be needed.
