As Section Manager GMS, you are responsible for part of our production capacity. The product is organized into a number of rotating team of developers and testers who together develop and validate new functionality. The section you are responsible for consists of approximately 15 employees in Växjö and Stockholm, with an additional 18 resources from an offshore partner. We are a total of around 50 people, including +20 from offshore partners.
The role and responsibilities of working as Section Manager with GMS consists of pre-planning, definition of work processes and quality, direct supervision and monitoring, and to drive continuous improvement within the department. You have full personnel responsibility for your employees in Växjö and Stockholm.
We work with agile methods and therefore we prefer that you share these values. As a section manager with us you understand the value to efficiently produce features with the right quality, and to ensure predictability in our product deliveries.
You have a genuine interest in software development, good understanding of development processes and a high quality focus. Your main interests are leadership and working methods. You are driven to become and maintain an effective team with high achievers. You have an interest in people and have the ability to enthuse and motivate other individuals. You have probably experienced management directly or indirectly and would like to continue and develop as a leader, or you are ready to take on the challenge now.
You have a university degree in software engineering or similar and have worked several years as a developer in a leading role in technically challenging projects. Since the work involves international contacts you have to mastered, in addition to Swedish, English in speech and writing. This position is located at our office in Växjö.
