Global Gaming is growing and is now looking for a Scrum master that is interested in agile methodology and working with several development teams on different physical locations. As a Scrum master at Global Gaming you will become part of a company with talented and experienced colleagues and you will be able to develop yourself in your professional role. We believe that with the help of the right Scrum Master we will be more efficient and more agile. You will work in a brand new office in Malmö.
Your work assignments
You will be working with an experienced team of developers and testers and help them and the Product Owner to coordinate and build the best web applications and backend. Primarily you will be working with two teams but there might be other development teams that will need assistance as well. The work is mainly to help and manage the teams to be more agile by following the structures set up by Scrum methodology.
This means:
• Coordinate our development teams to work as effectively as possible
• Coordinate when tasks require cross-platform development
• Manage the Sprint Planning and Retrospective meetings
• Manage the Daily Scrum meetings
• Educate and teach Scrum best practices across the organisation
• Manage any impediments that can arise during Sprints
• By Scrum techniques (like burn down chart) measure velocity to be better at predicting speed and productivity
Your background
We believe that you have been working as a Scrum Master for at least 2 years and that you are interested in applying and working with Scrum on a day to day basis. You don 't need to have a technical background per se since your main focus should be to build the teams and enhance their agility. It is important that you communicate fluently in English, both orally and in writing.
Your personal qualities
We are looking for someone who loves Scrum and believes it can help development organisations to be more agile and thus more effective. It is important that you are good at teaching methodology, are communicative and love to see theoretical processes come to life. The work requires you to be proactive and independently drive the work forward. Global Gaming is growing and will continue to grow during the coming years, therefore it is important that you can adapt to a fast and changing environment.
