hela Sverige Visa alla jobb hos ABB AB i Ospecificerad arbetsort As SCM Manager, you will be part of the SCM organization, managing strategic sourcing for all manufacturing units within the HUB. Other exciting outputs are supplier qualifications, audits, supplier selection and negotiations. Not to mention quality issues and escalations.
Your main mission will be to lead a team of supply specialists with the objective to develop and implement supply chain strategies in northern Europe, thereby supporting the business by optimizing costs, quality, reliability of suppliers and supplied products. You will be provided with a great amount of responsibilities, which among others will involve:
• Implementing effective sourcing strategies
• Managing a portfolio of suppliers
• Driving improvement programs
• Ensuring full utilization of our global supplier relationship management platform
• Managing procurement activities
• Monitoring the units' performances
• Managing supplier agreements
To successfully take on this position, you need to be commercial and result focused. Former employments have provided you with great negotiation skills and a process oriented approach. Furthermore, the position also puts high demands on your ability to take initiative.
You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanics, Electrical Engineering or equivalent along with at least ten years' experience from a management position, preferably within Supply Chain Management. If you also have an MBA, it is qualifying. Great knowledge of supply markets relevant to global businesses and experience from successfully leading an international team, are required. Fluency in English is a must, whereas additional languages will be to your advantage.
