hela Sverige We are looking for a SCM Manager to a client in Västerås!
Description:
Lead a team responsible for production preparation, operational purchasing, and warehouse management.
Production preparation: This part of your team is directly involved in our delivery projects with responsibility for production preparation. Your task is to secure manpower and ensure delivery according to plan in the projects.
Operational purchasing: This part of your team is responsible for purchasing of material to ensure the availability of material the correct time. This involves both direct and indirect material and includes placing purchase orders in time, follow up on OA, follow up on delivery, monitor supplier delivery performance and more.
Warehouse Management: This part of your team includes ERP power user for warehouse management, stock taking process and handling of production line direct material. This part also includes handling of safety stock levels and stock keeping strategies.
For all parts, continuously improvement of our processes, tools, and way we work is critical as well as setting up and execute various forums such as collaboration with our design team, strategic sourcing team, planning and production.
Looking for a person with the following backgrund:
A university degree in Engineering and working experience in a relevant field.
Leadership and managerial experience
Operational purchasing experience is preferred.
Proven ability to develop processes, especially within the field of purchasing, logistics and production preparation.
Collaborative, responsible, calm, responsive and result driven person who can inspire and motivate others.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to be proactive and communicate on all levels.
Able to make well-balanced decisions in a rapid and dynamic project environment.
Fluent in both Swedish and English, written and spoken alike.
