We are looking for a Scientist with experience in mRNA production, purification, and analysis to join the Research Application and Bioanalysis section in the Start-to-Finish department at R&D in Uppsala! The section is made up by 16 researchers that are working with protein purification and bioanalysis/biophysics of different biomolecules in projects with close collaborations with the customers.
What You'll Do
Be a member of a team performing and coordinating research activities within different projects in R&D from early-stage problem
statement to NPI projects, product care and market support, always with the customer in focus.
This role is focused on conducting independent scientific work in projects related to mRNA, IVT, purification and analysis.
Being involved in method development and method transfer/training within R&D, maintaining instrumentation and infrastructure,
creating standard operating procedures.
Who you are
You have a PhD. or similar long experience working within molecular biology, cell biology, RNA biology biochemistry and protein purification of mRNA molecules.
You have worked with setup of IVT production for mRNA as well as purification and analysis of protein and mRNA.
Additional experience of other methods such as Biacore and Mass spectrometry is also advantageous.
Interaction and communication with colleagues in this role are key and you should enjoy working in a flexible environment and have demonstrated abilities
to work in a collaborative and customer focused environment.
Strong presentation and communications skills as well as advanced English and Swedish skills (oral and writing) are also required.
