ELOB Biomedical Imaging AB is involved in proteomics research projects for understanding disease pathophysiology, and develop novel biopharmaceutical treatments and predictive biomarkers for chronic diseases.

The applicant should be an outstanding mass spectrometry researcher with experience in advanced MALDI mass spectrometry imaging to support drug discovery research. S/he will be responsible for hands-on MS imaging sample preparation, method development, and data analysis. S/he should have experience with MALDI imaging for the analysis of spatial distribution and molecular composition of structures in different tissue compartments. S/he will also be responsible for establishing sample preparation workflow.

Interested candidates should submit curriculum vitae with a list of publications, a brief statement of research accomplishments and interests, including three professional references.

Minimum Qualifications
• PhD or equivalent degree in mass spectroscopy imaging
• Over two years of post-doctoral experience
• Demonstrated publication track record in leading scientific journals and conferences
• Good verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills

Research experience in one or more of the following:
• Mass spectrometry (MALDI-TOF MS and MS/MS)
• MALDI imaging (sample preparation and analysis)
• Proteomics (protein separation and identification strategies)
• Bioinformatics (data analysis, processing and presentation)
