Interested in an administrative scientific role at ECDC focused on Vaccine Preventable Diseases? We are currently looking for an interim requested to perform various tasks in the expert group focusing on Vaccine Preventable Diseases at Expert to the European Centre for Disease Prevention (ECDC).
The interim shall be requested to perform various tasks including:
• Support collection, validation, analysis, interpretation and dissemination of data on Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD);
• Contribute to the continued development of the ECDC Surveillance Atlas for Infectious Diseases for vaccine preventable diseases;
• Contribute to the production of outputs in the form of ECDC scientific reports, ECDC web content and presentations;
• Contribute the liaising with national and international bodies involved in the surveillance of VPDs. Work closely, and support, the ECDC VPD surveillance team, the head of the VPD programme as well as other ECDC colleagues as required.
Competences and experience
• Public health background;
• Knowledge/expertise in the area of Vaccine Preventable Diseases;
• Excellent communication skills needed (written and spoken);
• Good project management skills;
• Presentation skills and proven scientific writing skills.

Job type: Full time, temporary employment from now to end of October 2017 with the possibility for extension.
