IES Täby was founded in 2006 and IEST Junior in 2010. The school is bilingual and follows the Swedish curriculum.
IEST provides an international and stimulating environment, where commitment, professionalism and the English language are common denominators. The academic expectations are high and we work in an environment where teachers can teach and students can learn.
School IT Coordinator from December 2014- June 2015
Would you like to run the IT at our school while our IT Coordinator is away on parental leave?
We need someone who enjoys working in English as we are a Bilingual school with International teaching staff. We have over 1000 students and 100 staff in 2 buildings next to each other in Täby.
The role is very diverse and includes that you:
1. Support our students with log- ins and passwords
2. Support our staff with daily service issues
3. Train staff and students
4. Carry out technical duties of maintaining our IT systems.We use Google Apps and Google drive and have a school administrative system called Schoolsoft. Our schedule is on Novaschem...
5. Maintain the mobile learning devices (carts) and projectors in the classrooms. We work mainly with Google Chrome books, Ipads and Macbooks.
6. Support with IT planning and development for the school
As we are part of a large school organisation we have a central agreement with an IT provider that you can use for technical support as well as support from colleagues in the IES IT team. You will be based in our senior school building, however, you will also be working with our Maths/IT teacher at junior supporting their technical needs on a regular basis.
