Job Description

You will be responsible for challenging, developing and optimising Scania's global supplier base in your segment, Low volume Sheet Metal Parts and your main task will be creating strategic plans and activities to improve the quality, delivery precision and total cost of your product range.

You will negotiate commercial agreements, actively develop existing and future suppliers in keeping with Scania's high standards. You will work closely with purchasing colleagues throughout the Volkswagen Group, quality managers, production and design engineers.

It's also very important that you feel comfortable with making demands and that you can challenge your stakeholders and suppliers when needed. You're well organised and analytical, thrive in a high tempo and dynamic environment. You can create strategic, comprehensive solutions to achieve agreed objectives.

The role involves a large international network and some travel, so you will need to be proficient in written and spoken English. German would be an advantage.

We offer
We offer an interesting and challenging job, with plenty of scope for new ideas. Scania's culture is characterised by openness, diversity and respect for the individual.
