Are you a Programmer with specialist skills from the pharmaceutical industry? Are you communicative and independent in your work?
We are currently looking for a Specialist Programmer for a consulting assigment to join a dynamic team within the Innovative Medicines Unit (IMED) at AstraZeneca, Mölndal. You will play a key role in delivering exciting early drug development portfolio.
AstraZeneca is a global, innovation-driven biopharmaceutical business that focuses on the discovery, development and commercialization of small molecule and biologic prescription medicines, pioneering innovative research and exploring novel pathways across key therapeutic areas, including respiratory, inflammation and autoimmunity; cardiovascular and metabolic disease; oncology; neuroscience; and infection and vaccines.
The consulting assignment will start in november or sooner and go on for at least 6 months.

Arbetsuppgifter
As a Specialist Programmer in Early Clinical Biometrics you will play a key role in delivering our exciting early drug development portfolio within the Innovative Medicines Unit (IMED). Early Clinical Biometrics progresses compounds through early-stage (phase I-II) development, supporting both small molecules and biologics. The IMED is conducting trials in collaboration with many external research organizations.
Early Clinical Biometrics is totally focused on delivering innovation, science and seeking out opportunity. This small, dynamic group is looking to expand and we are looking for passionate, innovative individuals to help develop, lead and shape the way we work.
Tasks and responsibilities:
• Support early phase (I-II) clinical projects in Programming activities
• Programming is the department that oversees and delivers the programming aspects of clinical development, maintains the Analysis and Reporting production tools and the information infrastructure.
• We manage and maintain the end to end standards
• We oversee quality and standards of study/project programming deliverables, including holding partners and providers accountable for their contributions
• We thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and working across functional/geographic boundaries
• We contribute to the development of best practice to improve quality, efficiency and effectiveness
• Background is BSc (or local equivalent) in Mathematics, Statistics, Informatics, Life or Social Sciences
• Extensive statistical programming or other relevant functional-area experience in a Pharmaceutical environment, to an expert level
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• We have expert knowledge of CDISC standards (SDTM, ADaM) and their application
• And comprehensive knowledge of GCP (Good Clinical Practice) and applicable technical/regulatory requirements
Utbildning/erfarenhet
Minimum requirements and key factors:
• Minimum 3-5 years' experience as a SAS Programmer
• Experience in working in Pharmaceutical Development
• BCs (or local equivalent) in Mathematics, Statistics, Informatics, Life or Social Sciences
• Ability to work independently
• Good communications skills
• It is a plus if candidates also have some experience in working with CDISC standards SDTM and ADAM.
