Within the department for Sales Production and Supply Chain Support at Sandvik Coromant, our SAP team is responsible for overall support for SAP. The team includes different roles, working with development, building and designing new concepts and testing the design. We are now looking for an SAP test specialist in what we call the MTO area. MTO stands for "Make-To-Order" and is a process for special orders developed uniquely for Sandvik, starting with a specification from the customer leads to creation of a sales order that will be fulfilled and invoiced by the business area's central warehouses. This is a great opportunity to work with global SAP solutions for Sandvik Coromant and, as we are entering an expansion phase, a chance to participate in developing and expanding our business.
The location for this position is Sandviken, Sweden.
Key performance areas
In this position, you attend different test phases such as Integration, Regression and User Acceptance. You participate in the implementation of SAP within our sales units, either as member of a team from your own department, together with other parts of the organization or with the functional experts who have developed the solution. Your main mission is to prepare and design manual and automated test cases, executing both manual and automatic testing and evaluating the results, and reporting activities and their results. You take an active role in further development of methods and test tools, and you verify that the requirements from the business are testable. Furthermore, you support the delivery of SAP test tools, ensuring they are used in an optimal way.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a degree in Computer Science or equivalent knowledge gained from a working career. You have at least five years' experience working within the SAP test area, with test tools and test-related activities, while previous experience from working with MTO is considered advantageous. As we work in an international setting, you need excellent skills in English, both verbal and written.
