SaltX Technology is an award-winning Swedish innovation company that has developed and patented a ground-breaking technology with which energy can be stored in salt, and subsequently recovered in the form of heat or cold. SaltX Technology is applied in four applications:
SunCool - Thermal solar collectors with integrated storage, heating and cooling for buildings
HeatBoost - Gas-driven heat pumps and storage for hot water and space heating
VerdAcc - Heat-driven cooling in trucks and heavy duty vehicles
EnerStore - Large scale storage of renewable energy
SaltX has recently secured a major investment round and is now expanding the team.
In order to excel in this role you need to have:
• Master of Science degree in Physics/Chemistry or equivalent engineering field
• Strong understanding of the renewable energy industry such concentrated solar and wind power
• Proven track record developing of energy storage products and systems within renewable energy system
• Self-Starter with a strong development background
• An enthusiasm for growing a great company, entrepreneurial by nature, change and growth oriented
In this role you will:
• Develop and improve the engineering concepts for large-scale energy systems
• Analyse and interpretate the data required for process improvements and modifications
• Contribute to the design, testing, and integration of the company's key products
• Evaluate processes to maintain cost-effectiveness and optimization of energy solutions
• Support project managers with engineering knowledge
• Advise the management in strategy-steering decision within the engineering scope
You will join a team of high technical competence where working independently as well as a team is what counts. We operate as one.
You have:
• M.Sc. from relevant field
• Already demonstrated your skills in similar strategic and technical role
• Experience from managing complex technical projects
• Experience from market analysis from relevant field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience from working in international organizations
• Great executive presence
• Advance level of both written and verbal communication in English
• Building relationships both inside the company and with external stake holders
