Sales-oriented Product Manager AB BIODISK is a Swedish diagnostic
company focused in the development and manufacturing of innovative products for
antimicrobial susceptibility testing of microorganisms. Customers include
hospital and reference diagnostic laboratories as well as the antibiotic
industry. Etest , the main product line is a gradient-based system for MIC
(Minimum Inhibitory Concentration) testing of a wide range of organisms and
antimicrobial agents. Etest is a well established global brand supported by 20
years of scientific documentation. The product is used by the pharmaceutical
industry, professional organisations and clinical laboratories throughout the

currently looking for a technically oriented product manager for the
international market. RESPONSIBILITIES - Act as the sales and
product coach for distributors within the region of responsibility. -
Interact, support and monitor distributor activities to grow sales. - Visit
key customer (microbiologists, bacteriologists and infectious disease
specialists) with distributor representatives to develop important product
applications. - Conduct on-site product and sales training for distributor
representatives. - Perform product presentations at seminars, workshops, and
product training sessions. - Collect customer and market information for
development of sales strategy, tactic and activities.
EXPERIENCE/PERSONAL TRAITS - Professional experience as a product
manager, product specialist or technical sales representative within a
diagnostic, medical or antibiotic industry is a merit. - International
experience within said field is highly valued. - Self-motivated,
independent, analytical, driven and goal and result-oriented. - Ability to
perform convincing product presentations. - "People-person" who enjoys
interacting with customers to "sell" and develop goodwill. - Structured
working ways and ability to prioritise the "right" things. - Life style
should suit travel; approximately 50%. EDUCATION - Academic
background in the biomedical field e.g. microbiology, biotechnology or pharmacy,
or within marketing and sales if combined with experience in the biomedical
field. - Experience within the clinical microbiology field will be of the
highest merit. - Fluent English (written and spoken) is a prerequisite;
additional language skills are valued. We offer an independent
