You as a Sales Specialist for Network Control systems will be part of Hitachi Energy business in Europe. You will be responsible for market development and sales of advanced Network Control projects utilizing the company's Network Manager SCADA, EMS, GMS, DMS and OMS solutions and services within your assigned markets in Europe. You will be responsible for achieving order intake in line with the sales budget, managing and growing existing customer relationships and winning new customers. You will be part of an international team and the workplace is in Västerås, Sweden. Optionally, other Hitachi Energy locations within Europe may be considered as workplaces upon request.
Your responsibilities
Identify and sell network control systems and services to customers, focusing on assigned business unit volume and profitability goals.
Establish and maintain effective customer relationships to understand customer needs. Ensure a positive customer experience throughout the sales process.
Prepare sales and close plans, conduct regular status reviews, and propose recovery plans in the event of potential order shortfalls.
Lead contract negotiations with customers to successfully close deals
Create value for the customer by following up and assisting in the resolution of potential issues to ensure the successful outcome of proposals, transactions, and contracts.
Ensure efficient marketing activities and value proposition to customers.
Identify, present, and collaborate with all stakeholders within the GA and country sales and account management teams on a winning strategy.
Manage administrative procedures in sales processes, lead internal risk reviews, ensuring timely preparation and submission of proposals in coordination with Bid and Proposal Department and/or Marketing Manager.
Manage and maintain sales reporting tools, opportunities and accounts, and report on sales and business performance in various countries within assigned territories.

Your background
Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, preferable in Power Technologies
A few years of Sales Experience in global environment in the Energy and/or T&D industry
Knowledge of high-level network control systems (SCADA, EMS, DMS, OMS)
Experience in working with virtual teams in multi-cultural environments
Strong networking skills
Fluency in English, additional languages such as French an advantage
Flexibility for travel required 60 - 80 days a year.
