Role Summary/Purpose:

The Sales Specialist develops practical and innovative ways to identify and meet priorities. In this role you will be responsible for work that is less defined in scope, utilize your understanding and experience to execute business objectives, and have the ability to effect short-term and long-term business goals. The product line is: Field Radiography and Film (Industrial Agfa Film + X-ray units: portable and stand alone, + Digital solutions to replace film: CT and flat panel detectors).

Essential Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership for sales to assigned customers through the formulation and execution for strategies and plans that capitalize on the customer's strengths as supplemented by GE's products and services.
• Build customer relationships with the assigned customer for sales.
• Support the assigned customer in sales activities and provide assistance to the customer in identifying new opportunities.
• Coordinate activities and provide leadership to establish individual sales strategies obtaining appropriate approvals for pricing, and delivery.
• Negotiate contracts as required
• Maintain knowledge of market trends, competitive actions, product needs, and customer base.
• Work with Marketing to develop project specific sales strategies for assigned customers.
• Make recommendations for continued growth.

Qualifications/Requirement:

• Commercial experience in developing customer relationships & handling customer issues.
• Ability to maximize the utilization of Inspection Technologies Products taking into consideration customer need.
• Highly motivated, technically strong individual with demonstrated ability to influence customers and internal stakeholders.
• Broad technical experience in industrial radiology: X-Ray units, Film and digital detectors.
• Candidate must demonstrate strong communication & organizational skills.
• Must be able to direct and influence other functions within GE.
• Willingness to travel.
• Proven track record in a similar commercial role with the ability to demonstrate customer growth.
• Fluent in English and at least one Nordic language.
• Valid driving license.

Desired Characteristics:

• University Degree - preferably Electronics or Chemical Engineering.
• Sound experience of industrial radiology.
