WHO YOU ARE
With the customer at the heart of everything we do, Group Expansion takes responsibility for strategic expansion planning enabling penetration of existing and new markets. We take the lead for business development of existing and new customer meeting points. We act on business needs and empower the markets to maximise accessibility, implement our retailing concepts and fully utilise our assets in the new world of IKEA - all at lowest cost, with economy of scale and sustained profitability.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for maximizing growth and optimizing profitability, by ensuring a seamless and easy buying process in new Customer Meeting Points (CMPs), within the one market approach
• Support the Leaders and Specialist team in the central planning hub, contributing to customer meeting points that present the range in a vital, inspiring way fitting the needs of the many and that enable access to the whole range in a multichannel retail world of IKEA.
• Ensure CMPs that present the range in a vital, inspiring way fitting the needs of the many and that enable access to the whole range in a multichannel retail world of IKEA
• Support the central planning hub leaders and specialist team with strategic guidance, ways of working and tools in sales steering, planning and activation
• Ensure the development of inspiring solutions that reflect a wide variety of styles and price levels and life at home activities with seasonal relevance connected to the commercial activities
• Support the central planning hub leaders and specialists in the use of global tools, proven solutions, best practices within sales and conversion and when needed, adjust the global solutions to be locally relevant
• Design retail spaces and solutions to become visually attractive and drive sales, based on the customer journeys of the new CMP
• Responsible for delivering a large portfolio of projects within expected quality, time and budget, by designing retail solutions in collaboration with the markets and Inter IKEA Systems in order to build the brand, secure an outstanding customer experience, grow sales and broaden the customer base
• Be at the forefront of new solutions and new technology in order to optimise customer experience and efficiency of CMPsCommon Global Competence Profile
• Take lead in working across functions within Ingka Group and collaborate with other IKEA units
• Take lead in driving an open and sharing climate, being a role model of the IKEA values
• Lead positive change, and contribute to building a more unique, inclusive and accessible IKEA - guided by the People and Planet Positive commitments
