Glasdon Group design and manufacture a broad range of premium quality environmental and safety products including waste and recycling containers, street cleaning equipment, passively safe road safety products, winter and water safety equipment, outdoor public seating, shelters for personnel and cycles and modular building and housing systems.
The company is privately owned and has been established for 50 years. The company has an enviable reputation for the supply of durable and innovative products, often manufactured from recycled material, combined with excellent customer service.
From our base in the UK, where our impressive design and innovation centre is located, we supply to all types of organisation in public and commercial market sectors.
Customers in France, Belgium, Netherlands, Spain, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Czech Republic are supplied directly through our network of sales offices. Customers in the rest of the world are supplied through our global network of distributors and resellers.
The next phase of our overseas expansion will involve the creation of Glasdon Sweden AB to provide our high levels of customer service and ever-growing product range directly to Swedish customers.
Job description
Responsible for direct selling of our complete product range to all types of organisation in the public and commercial sectors.
The individual will be expected to work from the office/home 1 day per week with 4 days visiting customers, making approximately 5 visits per day. Demonstration of products will be required.
There will be challenging, yet achievable, quarterly sales target to achieve in a defined geographical territory.
The company will invest in marketing campaigns to provide sales enquiries and the individual will also be expected to obtain contacts by themselves.
The individual will benefit from the support of a Swedish office and further comprehensive support from the UK.
Essential requirements
Ability to communicate in English and Swedish. Meeting reports and weekly reports to be completed in English.
Ability to drive and load/unload car with samples.
Previous business to business selling experience.
Desirable requirements
Preferably more than 2 years experience in an external sales role.

Ersättning
Basic salary plus a bonus paid on achievment.
