• Responsible for the sales of company and/or partner manufactured systems within Port & Maritime segments in MENA region.
• Demonstrates technical selling skills and product knowledge in electrical and mechanical fields.
• Work closely with end users, consultants and contractors in order to create new business.
• Prepare and be responsible for fiscal budget and control costs for market segment.
• Develops annual business and marketing plan in conjunction with Managing Director, which details activities to follow during the fiscal year.
• Complete understanding of pricing and proposal models.
• Demonstrates the ability to carry on a business and technical conversation with terminal engineers and procurement personnel.
• Develops a database of projects and clients through referrals, travelling, email, and networking.
• Responsible for sourcing and developing client relationships in existing markets.
• Responsible for identifying and building effective partnerships in regions where we are not present to maximize revenue.
• Maintains accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities within their assigned territory.
• Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
• Participates and contributes to the development of educational programs offered to clients, prospects and company employees.
• Follow up on competition systems and inform manufacturing companies of developments that could have impact on our market share or price levels.
• Maintain a high knowledge level of company or partner systems byplanning relevant system training together with Managing Director.
Requirements
• University degree, BSc ME or EE, Min. 5 years sales experience in port and/or marine market segment, Min. 2 years experience in MENA region. Fluent in English, Driving license, Must be eligible for entry visa in all countries in the region and Schengen.
Willing to travel around the territory and understands the requirement of being outside the job location for min. 50% of the working time.
