We are now looking for a colleague to take on the responsibility as Sales Manager for Maersk Line in Sweden, located in Gothenburg.

In the role as Sales Country Manager you will be expected to be an active and visible character on the Swedish market, as well as internally in Maersk Line to ensure that our organization is agile and able to support our sales efforts and serve our customers.
You will be part of our Sales Leadership Team and share ideas and concerns with Sales Country Managers for Denmark and Norway as well as with our Key account Sales Manager. You will report to the Sales Director for Maersk Line, Scandinavia.

Key Responsibilities
Include's defining a sales strategy for Maersk Line in Sweden, and to implement it by making sure we have a strong presence on the market, a strong sales team and close cooperation with rest of Maersk Line Scandinavia.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
• deliver volume and yield targets for Sweden (excluding the key client segment), while remaining focused on relationship building.
• manage our sales pipeline, by identifying market segments where we should grow and work closely with marketing and trade management to identify services where we can deliver growth
• monitor performance against targets and take corrective action where necessary
• manage and coach a team of individuals to optimize performance, including building competencies and developing our way of working

The team you will be heading consists of sales reps working on the field, sales reps working from the office and a sales support team headed by an assistant manager.

Who we are looking for
As a person you have good understanding of the Swedish shipping & logistics market as well as extensive experience from the shipping industry. You also have a proven track record as successful people leader, preferably within the commercial field. You are motivated by achieving your goals and by engaging others to achieve their goals. You have good coaching skills and you are able to attract and retain strong sales talents.

You have a university degree or similar and it will be seen as an advantage if you have a Six Sigma green belt certification.

You are fluent, both verbal and written, in Swedish and English language.

Swedish driving licens is a requirement.
