About the postion

In the role as Sales Manager infra you are responsible for the development and management of sales towards the foundation construction segment. You will work with a range of questions and be responsible for sales related to MP, LDP, casing tubes and RD pile walls and eventually other tubular products. You will actively be looking for all commercial and technical opportunities which could contribute to the success of SSAB. In your daily you will work in close corporation with the infra team, technical managers and production. To succeed you will use your ability to maintain good relations with existing customers as well as the ability find new customers.

Key Tasks
• Planning, implementation and development of sales and marketing actions both individually and in co-operation with the other team lead by the Business Manager.
• Receiving inquiries and making profitable pricing for the offers based on up-to-date cost knowledge based on given specifications and alternative solutionseceiving customer feedback and managing possible corrective actions based on this information.Local technical customer service & alternative design offerings with help of Infra Technology Team
• Identifies all possible opportunities which can be offered by SSAB with special emphasis on harbor, building foundation and road & railway segments and Tubular Products in general
• Lead lager international development or sales based projects within the segment

Days of traveling are expected to be approximately 3-5 days per month

Requirements:
• Education and training:
• Basic, and technical engineering education
• Basic knowledge of steel

Skills and knowledge:
• Several years' experience on construction
• Experience on customer-oriented sales and influencing
• Basic knowledge on project management & contractual terms
• Basic knowledge on the potential of engineering in sales

Knowledge of languages:
• Swedish, first language
• English, fluent

Experience of foundation market will be an important advantage.

You are good at seeing and creating customer value and want to be involved in developing clients businesses. We expect you to be proactive, independent and well-organized but still be a great team player with excellent learning and problem solving skills.

You enjoy negotiating and communicating with people and have an understanding of the local culture and traditions. You are capable of being on the road, both nationally and internationally. A good understanding and acceptance of the mills' overall objectives is required.
