There is now an exciting opportunity at Aptiv, who is looking for a Sales Manager with responsibility for new business growth as well as account growth and value creation for the product portfolio, Advanced Safety & User Experience. They are specialized in software, centralized computing platforms, advanced safety systems and automated driving, while acknowledging the growth in areas that enrich the in-vehicle experiences such as infotainment, displays, and connectivity. The global product lines under Advanced Safety and User Experience will be Safety Electronics, Infotainment, User Experience, Connectivity and Security and Autonomous Driving for OEMs. All five product lines are represented in Gothenburg.

As the Sales Manager, you will have an extremely significant role to business develop Advanced Safety & User Experience successfully to a new level.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Aptiv 's sales point of contact to customer 's senior leadership. For assigned customers- lead the development of business and product strategy and roadmap
• For new business- lead the comprehensive due diligence and strategy for potential customers; lead the business case and customer relations for new pursuits
• Coach division sales team with understanding/defining what drives economic value for new and existing customers. In collaboration with sales teams, define/ re-fine and execute each customer 's strategy and help achieve global account business plan
• Lead customer review meetings and, in collaboration with global sales managers, establish tools to have oversight and take action on customer account growth, customer product roadmap and customer satisfaction & feedback
• Accountable for achieving annual account strategic business plan

To succeed in this role, you have experience in leading a sales team in the manufacturing or technology industry. You have excellent skills in business development and strong communication skills (English and Swedish). You most likely have a degree in Engineering and preferably additional business administration background.

Of course, you have a successful track record in managing complex commercial discussions, establishing customer strategies and increasing revenue/growth. You have proven experience in building sales capabilities and it 's a plus with product and specific customer experience or/and operations and supply chain background. With your entrepreneurial mind-set, you like to think outside the box and you are curious about emerging and untapped markets and industries.

As a person, you recognize yourself as being able to set strategic directions and you are balanced in strategic thinking and implementation. You have strong managerial skills, drive, and a willingness to roll up your sleeves to get the job done. You have strong motivation, sense of urgency, high- level of energy and problem solving skills. As a leader, you have the ability to earn trust from subordinates, peers and superiors but also strong ability to build a high performing team accountable for results.
