About the job
You will be part of the International EPC Sales Development team, in the central Business Unit Welded Heat Exchangers, and work closely with our sales forces around the world to drive the sales of High Efficiency Heat Exchangers. We are a team that develop and manage bids for large-scale projects, which mostly consists of international and complex orders of heat exchangers. One of our focus customers are International Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) entities.
To succeed, you will need to establish and coordinate the global project team including sales companies, operations, and other business unit colleagues to ensure technically and commercially competitive solutions, with well managed risks. A high integrity, in combination with a good team spirit, reflects your personality and gives you the ability to build trustful relationships both internally and externally. Main responsibilities include to:
Drive and develop project sales globally, along with strategic planning and prioritization to ensure profitability.
Work together with our global sales team and the sales companies in identifying the opportunities for our solution 's in the customer's project, and the value it brings.
Drive the sales process from Lead-to-Order process to a successful contract closing and hand-over to execution in Operations.
Utilize industry expertise to identify and proactively engage in selected projects or applications, positioning Alfa Laval as the preferred solution provider.

You report to the International EPC Development Manager in BU WHE and this position can be based in Lund (Sweden), Fontanil, Nevers, Chalon-sur-Saone, Paris (France) or Suisio (Italy), as we have colleagues in different locations. Frequent travels should be expected approximately 20-30 days a year. Alfa Laval offers a hybrid work model with the opportunity to work from home when it fits with your tasks.

Who are you?
You have a curious business mind with a commercial flair which makes you very capable in understanding the customers context. You are a shark at networking and developing relations and an ability to motivate people around you. To thrive in this position, we believe that you need to have a positive, agile mindset and to find solutions to sales challenges. You're clear in your communication, have good negotiation skills and have a structured and strategic approach to your work.

What you know
You have a university degree in Engineering or equivalent. You have at least a couple of years' experience from technical sales, preferably within process industry and/or with heat transfer. Knowledge from petrochemical and gas industry is a bonus as well as a keen interest in clean tech. As we operate in an international environment, it's key that you are fluent in both written and spoken English and understand how to work in a cross-functional organization.
