Background
Saint-Gobain offers a range of gypsum-based building materials from wall lining dry boards and plaster to ceilings and floors, as well as systems such as metal frames partitions and steel encasement systems. In Sweden, the gypsum business I represented by Gyproc. The Gyproc plant and headquarters are based in Bålsta, north of Stockholm and employs around 130 people.
Around 4000 tons of plaster boards and steel encasement leves the factory every month and the Supply Chain Process is crucial and central for the performance of the organization.
Since 2004 the company uses WCM (World Class Manufacturing) as a method to improve and lead the development of the plant.
Job Description
The role as Supply Chain Manager includes full ownership of the Supply Chain function at the Gyproc plant in Bålsta. You will have an overall responsibility for ensuring the prompt and cost-effective delivery, driving cost reduction and implementing best practice. In addition, you'll use your analytical skills and industry experience to improve all Supply Chain processes in accordance with the overall WCM work.
This will be a central role within Gyproc liaising with many departments and leading a team of 35 people. The responsibility includes logistics, production planning, master data, warehousing, operative purchasing and inventory.
The Supply Chain Manager, based in Bålsta will maintain the Supply Chain strategy and implement new strategies as the needs of the business change, ensure the appropriate performance indicators (KPI's) are established in order to ensure that the measurement, and continuous improvement of Supply Chain performance.
Desired Profile
We are looking for an experienced team manager to oversee the supply chain team. You will be naturally enthusiastic about developing your staff and developing processes where you see room for improvement.
Ideally you will have good experience with this type of process industry and the challenges that comes with it.
Ideally your experience and skills will include:
• Extensive Supply Chain experience from a similar industry
• Management experience
• Minimum bachelor's degree or equivalent in Supply Chain or related disciplines
• Understanding of Supply Chain planning parameters.
• Excellent communications and collaboration skills
• Knowledge of WCM (Lean Tools) and S&OP process.
• Knowledge of SAP
• Fluent Swedish and English

The position is based in Bålsta reporting to the Gyproc Site Manager.
