Dina arbetsuppgifterYou will be participating in our development of signalling systems. As Safety Coordinator you participate in projects as the person with the overall responsibility for safety management. This includes:
• Planning, guiding and driving the project's safety related activities
• Coordinating safety related work in the project's different work packages, such as development, engineering and installation to ensure an efficient progress
• Participating in the project's core team together with the project manager
• Ensuring close cooperation with the independent safety validator to discover any problems with validation of system requirements as early as possible
• Leading meetings dealing with potential safety problems
• Being the project's contact person to external safety stake holders such as customer safety manager, independent safety assessor, certification body and national safety approval authority
You will also take part in the line organisation's continuous work with improving the efficiency of safety activities:
• Coaching and mentoring development engineers regarding safety awareness
• Developing and maintaining certain process documents
• in improvement projects

Utbildning och erfarenhetDepending on your experience and your interests this role will, to various degrees, allow you to develop your skills in:
• Validation and Safety engineering support, including the provision of advice on safety planning, safety requirements, safety standards, safety analysis techniques and the production of safety deliverables (validation reports, safety cases, hazard analysis).
• Substantial knowledge of CENELEC standards 50126, 50128, 50129, 50159-1, 50159-2, ISO/IEC 17020
• FMEA/ FTA knowledge
• Knowledge about RCS' products and processes
• Experience with CENELEC's V-model and its implementation
• Functional Safety competence
• Experience in working with Safety Authorities.
You need the following skills:
• Master degree in Engineering or equivalent, software, hardware or system development background
• Capable of handling conflict resolutions
• Strong communication skills
• Comfortable in working with other engineering disciplines, project management and customers.
• Process oriented
• Fluent English language skills
