hela Sverige PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Manage, perform and ensure the activities related to safety assurance in the Projects and Programs (products and systems).
Deliver safe solutions (Projects and Programs).
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Key accountabilities:
Coordinate all the Safety Assurance activities on the project/system/product as per Safety process defined in Signalling Safety Instruction.
Perform Safety analysis, manage Hazard Log, review RAM, Cyber, V&V, T&C activities from a Safety perspective.
Define safety plan and manage safety workload and associated planning.
Build the Safety Reports and/or the Safety Cases.
Apply the safety assurance methodologies (risk acceptance criteria, safety analysis, verification and validation) defined for the project/system/product.
Organize and attend periodic Safety Reviews.
Defend Safety Case argumentation in front of internal (QS, Safety Assessor) and external (ISA) assessors; define and follow-up action plans to close the findings of the assessors.
Manage (if any) the Safety Assurance Engineers involved on the project/system/product (Internal or external resources).
Key Job Authorities and Dimensions
Safety reference on the related Projects/Program for the Core team, Customer (internal or external) and assessors/SA (internal and external).
Team manager if SAE involved.
Safety budget responsible.
MAIN REQUIRED COMPETENCES
Educational Requirements
Mandatory:
Advanced University or Engineering degree
English operational in reading and writing for technical documentation.
Desirable:
System, Electrical, Electronics, Electromechanical engineering knowledge
Experience
Mandatory:
Mastering Cenelec Standards for Safety (or equivalent standards if needed: AREMA, IEEE, etc.) and safety methodology & concepts/principles.
5 years successful experience in safety assurance.
Including 2 years in Railway business.
Desirable:
