What you will be part of
We are now seeking a graduate within Strategic Project Planning and to take part in the strategic planning of our development projects. The projects within Aero Operations are some of the largest development projects carried out in Sweden today and spans a long time, involving many disciplines which requires the successful candidate to have very good overall capability, broad technical interest, energy and drive.
The department you will belong to, Operations Management Office, consists of about 90 employees with roles such as project managers, project controllers, project planners, project administrators and estimate and resource managers. The overarching goal for the department is to make sure our projects are carried out successfully and completed with excellent results.
Your role
As a graduate at Saab, you will participate in a programme that is uniquely designed to boost your career. Your development will be aligned with Saab's business goals and the programme will enable you to contribute to our business and take part in actual projects. From day one, you will be appointed to a position with permanent employment at one of Saab's sites worldwide.
We are seeking a person who, after the programme is completed, has the ability to operate in a role as Strategic Project Planner within Aero Operations complex and challenging project environment.
Projects are by nature diverse and flexible. We are therefore looking for someone who can bring order and structure in an environment that is complex and multifaceted. At the same time do it in a way that combines communicative and result oriented leadership. Personality is very important!
Your skills and experience
We expect that you have a university degree, have the ability to combine strategic thinking with high analytical ability and like to work as part of a team. Courses in leadership and project management are an advantage. You like to work in a complex environment, have a pragmatic view and can endure periods of hard work. You have good skills in both Swedish and English, it's an advantage if you are familiar to Portuguese.
To succeed in the position you should have:

Cooperation and communicative - Responsive behaviour in the group; social and empathy
Personal leadership - Curious, positive attitude, take responsibility, interest in leadership
You will be positioned in Linköping but the role can include some domestic and international travel.
Some positions have tasks including defense secrecy. In such circumstances it will be required of you to conduct and receive an approved security clearance by responsible authorities.
