Core MissionAs a Rubber & Fluid transfer commodity buyer you will be accountable for the Quality, Delivery, Cost, Feature, Technology, Sustainability and Risk Management, QDCFTSR, of the supplier base on your segments. You will be responsible to make sure that the segment strategy is implemented through the selection of the right suppliers, and by continuously securing supplier QDCFTSR performance by using the tools and purchasing/cross functional network during production and after production for Revenue segments.ResponsibilitiesContribute to segment strategies & be an active member in the global network of commodity buyersTo secure that supplier selection is aligned with the Segment strategy/Segment Business Plan (To be Supplier base, MCL... )To secure the outcome of the sourcing in a contractual package, and that all agreements are approved and signedExecute agreements with suppliers during production and after production for Revenue segmentsDrive all relevant activities to deliver on QDCFTSR targets during production phase and after production phase for Revenue PartsMonitor, identify and mitigate risks in cooperation with SQ&D teamForecast cost evolution for scope of responsibilityManage and negotiate product/processes changes during production phase, and after production phase for Revenue segmentsPerform daily purchasing activities related to production orders, logistics and financial flows to the suppliersRequired SkillsOwnership / AccountabilityPositive mindsetPerseveranceStructured way of workingBusiness AcumenNegotiation skillsStrong team playerLearning on the flySelf-driving and autonomyProblem solvingStrategic thinkingProven ability to establish and maintain strong and trustful relations with suppliersProven ability to establish targets and drive resultsAnalytical skillsWillingness to go out on the fieldWillingness to learn from others and share best practicesAbility to communicate with facts, to sell concepts and get desired supportFluent in English, both written and spoken
