hela Sverige DRAFTSMAN READY TO GO UNDER EARTH
Rail traffic in Gothenburg will be expanded. More specific, it is the construction of Haga station in the project Västlänken and 1.5 km of the tunnel to be realized. For this prestigious project, we are now looking for a design engineer for the Technical Department.
WHAT TO BE BUILT
Haga Station will be built with a platform and two tracks, with preparation for two further tracks and one platform. A total of three entrances to the station where the platforms are reached via an intermediate plane. The station is built partly in an open earth shed under the Rosenlund Channel and partly in the mountain next to Haga church. In addition to the railway tunnel, the line will have a parallel service tunnel and a connecting access tunnel.
WHO SHOULD BUILD IT
The project will be run by a consortium with Italian Astaldi, Turkish Gülermak and NRC Group Sweden on behalf of the Trafikverket. Multinational cooperation with highly qualified and prominent actors in each discipline.
YOUR ROLE IN CONSTRUCTION
As a draftsman, you will play a central role in the technical implementation of the project. On your desk (and your shoulders) is the responsibility for drawings and sketches for site installations, method descriptions and monthly status reports. You are also expected to issue drawings explaining and clarifying design issues as well as ongoing prints and documentation for current constructions. You also assist in questions regarding Building Information Modeling (BIM) and to arrange and print BIM files. In addition, you are expected to revise and "plot" Revit models.
YOUR COMPETENCE
Your role in the drawing department requires accuracy, knowledge, creativity and ability to communicate well. Formally, we wish you to have an engineering degree in construction engineering and preferably 3-5 years of experience as a design engineer. If you have dug yourself in tunnel construction earlier, then it is of course a merit.
You manage 3D CAD tools (AutoCAD, Revit or Navisworks) as well as MS Office. Due to the international composition of the project, fluent English is required. We realize that it is extremely rare with a person who can Turkish and Italian too, but it would have been interesting. You will have frequent contact with the contracting authority (Trafikverket) and all project owners.

Your workplace is centrally located in Gothenburg and you report to the project 's technical manager.

FACTS VÄSTLÄNKEN
Västlänken is a new rail link for commuter and regional trains and three new stations in Gothenburg. With Västlänken Gothenburg gets three new commuter stations in central locations; at the center of Gothenburg, at Haga and at Korsvägen. Västlänken will be about eight kilometers long. Just over six kilometers of the double-track railway will go into a tunnel under central Gothenburg.
