Sourcing Management, BU Commodity is looking for an experienced Risk- and Business Analyst to work in the team of Sales Risk Analysis (SRA).
The Business Unit Commodity (Commodity) is part of Vattenfall's Customer & Solutions Nordic. Commodity supports and coordinates Business- and Consumer sales on a daily basis. The main responsibilities for Commodity are physical purchasing, sales risk management, product management and sales contract portfolio management.
SRA is responsible for risk compliance related to our hedging, minimize sales risk exposure and pricing principles. SRA is also product owner of the analyze- and reporting tool in Qlikview and also works closely with Vattenfall's hedging system EnergySite. Working within SRA involves working with different departments, close to Salespeople and the results for Customer and Solution.
If you are interested in risk management, pricing, IT and to be a central part of our Sales business while working in an environment where you shall contribute to reduce costs, increase sales business, raise the margin, explain the electricity business and minimize the sample space regarding risks then we have a role for you.
The responsibilities of this strategic role include:
Your main responsibilities are to develop and maintain risk models and pricing tools. You shall also contribute to improve our profitability. Furthermore you will actively drive our customer reference pricing, calculate risk parameters, risk analyses and support our sales portfolio managers, advisors and salesmen.
You are flexible and a service minded team player. You enjoy cooperation and developing our daily business as well as our interfaces. You are actively striving for creating value to the business and are aware of the importance of reaching targets.
As a successful Risk- and Business Analyst, you have a good knowledge of the Nordic electricity market. Your excel skills are advanced and you are a competent user of various IT-systems. Furthermore you are analytical, performance oriented and self-driven. You have a solution oriented mind-set and have the ability to balance the value both for customers and Vattenfall.
You are fluent in Swedish and English and you possess a Masters level degree in Science or Business Administration (or equivalent). It is meritorious to have skills in risk management and the Nordic financial electricity market and experience of QlikView as a tool.
