Would you like to work with risk in the leading corporate and institutional bank in the Nordic countries? SEB is looking for an experienced and proven risk specialist to support its Risk organization with insight on the CIS countries.
You will part of Group Risk organization and work with all risk types. The main objective for Group Risk is to ensure that all risks inherent in the activities of SEB are identified and assessed, as well as measured, monitored, controlled/mitigated, and reported in accordance with external and internal rules. Group Risk is a group-wide organization with global functional responsibility and independent from the business organization.
What you will be doing
We are looking for a risk specialist, working across all risk types, primarily within the Risk Oversight part of Group Risk. You will support with knowledge and experience from "Commonwealth of Independent States" countries, participate in initiatives relating to these countries and work closely with the LC&FI division on such matters. In addition, you will take responsibility for the planning, co-ordination and follow-up of some strategic initiatives within Risk Oversight as well as support Risk Oversight management team with various activities. You will be part of the Risk Oversight International team and report to Head of RO International.
Who we are looking for
We are looking for a person with a minimum of 10 years of relevant Banking, risk & credit experience, who has worked previously within a risk department in an international financial institution and has been approved by a recognised regulator for this position. You are curious and have a high level of integrity and are self-driven, with energy and enthusiasm. You enjoy working in a team with divisional team members and in joint assignments with colleagues from other parts of our organisation. You are an excellent communicator with the ability to build trust and forge professional relationships. You can see the big picture but still be able to keep an eye on the details.
An applicable university degree and fluency in English and one other foreign language is required.
You do apply good judgement and have a thorough understanding of business processes and controls. Also, you have applied tools for the analysis of large data objects that would support you in this role.
