What you will be a part of
Support and Services, a business area of Saab, supplies a wide range of services and integrated support solutions to customers in defence and on commercial markets for cost-efficient support of systems and platforms throughout their life cycle.
Airborne ISR (a business unit within Support & Services) is currently leading a number of ongoing major aircraft modification/integration Projects.
We deliver Surveillance Aircrafts and our business interacts with other Saab Business Areas demanding exceptional cooperation skills.
Good communication and pragmatic problem solving are keys in our efforts to satisfy the customers' needs.
The staff function has dedicated positions for Risk Management, Quality Management and Business Improvement and we now seek a Risk and Opportunity Coordinator to become a part of this team.
You will be part of an experienced but small team working in a fast and expanding business focusing on continuous improvement and business development. Your contribution will be important to enable timely execution and minimize the total cost in our projects, now and in the future.
Your role
Your future challenges will be to:
Firmly drive the Risk and Opportunity Management activities in at least one major modification Project.
Build a strong network with key decision makers and colleagues. You will be reporting to the project manager, the Business Unit Risk Manager and Quality Manager.
Support risk and opportunity owners with root cause analysis, SWOT analysis work shops and training.
Evaluate risk and opportunity management effectiveness and propose improvements.
Increase your knowledge and understanding of the ISO 31000 Risk Management, which Saab's Risk Management process strives towards.
Your skills and experience
To thrive in this position you need to be able to take responsibility for your own tasks and pursue the goal ahead with a pro-active mindset. A structured and systematic approach is an obvious way of working for you but you must be able to adapt to the situation. We also believe that you are a team player who gets energy from working along with others.
We think this position requires experience as a Project Manager or Risk and Opportunity coordinator. You have been working in technical projects and preferably you have a technical educational background. Experience from integration projects including design, manufacturing and assembly would be an advantage.
