Our Sweden BTS Engineering Lab is a global hardware research centre focusing on engineering concepts, platforms, and new devices for future radio solutions. We work with technology evolution and how to utilize this in the needs of the future communication networks and products. We are continuously searching for disruptive ideas or potential paradigm shifts as we are acting in a critical period of time. What we investigate and design today might very well dramatically transform the next generations' communications systems.
DUTIES:
Lead on complex RF and microwave passive device engineering research assignments. Lead the RF and microwave passive device engineering team to a bright and smart direction as a technical strategy expert. Familiar with research environment and know how to carry out and demonstrate new ideas when resources are limited in research phase. Deliver technical reports. Cooperate with headquarters' team contributing unique technical value.
REQUIREMENTS:
Master/PhD in electronic and RF&MW with10 or more years of related engineering experience in commercial companies or research organizations.
The candidate must have knowledge in RF/MW characteristics and architecture of wireless communication system, and be familiar with the product's RF passive devices selection requirements that enables to serve as a technical leader on projects relating to 5Gresearch projects.
The candidate must have knowledge in understanding the design challenges for 5G and knowledge of solutions.
The position requires knowledge and skills sufficient to apply the latest developments in engineering with successful record from research projects in commercial companies.
The candidate must have good experience of RF/MW passive device design, material, process technology, and reliability issues solution, and other related knowledge and skills.
The candidate must have hands-on design experience and be able to deliver state-of-the-art technology regarding RF/Microwave passive device.
Fluent English, both written and spoken.
