Within Volvo Cars Experience we receive around 30 000 brand activity visitors and 60 000 conference guests per year. They are customers, politicians, journalists, students, suppliers, dealers and more. Through the Factory Tours, guided tours at the Brand Experience Centre, test driving at the Volvo Cars Demo Centre and the Volvohall we aim to give our visitors the best experience of the Volvo brand.
As part of our team of 3 Reservations Coordinators you will be the first point of contact with our guests and the one who helps them book their visit to Volvo Cars which could be anything from a tour in our Torslanda factory to a complete three day conference with activity program. You will meet people from all over the world on a daily basis and have the opportunity to give them the best Volvo experience possible.
What you will do as a Reservations Coordinator
* Coordinate and support internal and external booking requests for all of Volvo Cars Experience operations (with focus on the Volvohall)
* Act as an on-site responsible for conferences in the Volvohall as well as the Brand Experience Centre including daily up keep to ensure our guests are greeted in the best possible way
* Manage weekly resource planning for all activities and resources
* Develop and follow-up KPIs for the Volvohall, initiate concepts and strategies for improvement
* Perform statistical surveys, deliver statistical follow-ups and manage operational performance reporting for Volvohall
* Responsible for long term facility management for the Volvohall together with the on-site event technician
* Back up on site technician when necessary and possible
What you will bring
* Bachelors or Master's degree in Business Administration or Event management
* Minimum 5 years work experience within project management, tourist operations or service operations
* Experience in project management with structured approach and good networking skills
* Proven skills in all MS Office tools, especially Outlook and Excel
* Swedish and English, spoken and written, on a professional business level. Additional language skills are an advantage
* B Driver's license
