Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics at Örebro University Hospital is seeking a researcher in life-course epidemiology.

Main responsibilities
Responsibilities will involve using Swedish register data and information from other sources to examine influences on health across the life-course and health inequalities, including a significant focus on aspects of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Qualifications and experience
Applicants should have knowledge of relevant research methods and experience of software such as SPSS, Stata, R or SAS. The postholder will be involved across the entire research process, from heling to operationalise research questions, obtaining data, conducting analysis and scientific writing. A postgraduate qualification (such as PhD) is highly desirable, although candidates with other qualifications and the appropriate skills may be considered. This post will provide an excellent opportunity to participate in and influence epidemiological research in a dynamic environment.

Form of employment
The appointment is full-time for a duration of two years in the first instance.
The salary will depend on qualifications and experience.

The person appointed will be placed in Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics which is part of the Clinical Research Centre at Örebro University Hospital. Medical research has a high priority in Region Örebro County. Our research is being developed in close partnership with Örebro University to improve health and healthcare.
