Atlas Antibodies was founded in 2006 as a start-up from the Human Protein Atlas project and has successfully launched more than 60,000 products for protein research. The company was originally founded by researchers at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm and the Rudbeck Laboratory, Uppsala University in Uppsala to handle the production, marketing and sales of research tools developed by the Swedish-based Human Protein Atlas program. Today the company has full in-house manufacturing facilities and offers four premium quality product lines: Triple A Polyclonals, PrecisA Monoclonals, PrEST Antigens and QPrESTs. QPrESTs are mass spectrometry standards for absolute quantification of proteins. The company today has approximately 55 employees, markets and sells its products globally through multiple distribution channels. The company is in a phase of profitable expansion and exploring new growth areas to meet the needs of customers. The company site is in the Stockholm area.
Dina arbetsuppgifterAbout the role:
As a Research Scientist, you primarily work in a team with four of the employees at the R&D department. Your assignment is to further develop products for the Targeted Proteomics field. You perform mass spectrometry-based projects, including experimental work and data analysis for method development and validation of the final product. In the project you are expected to actively participate and assist with expertise within mass spectrometry and proteomics. Furthermore, you develop processes and protocols for the product. This means that you also work operatively in the lab with routine quality controls and transfer of established processes to the production and quality control unit.
KvalifikationerEducation, Experience & Personal Qualifications:
• Industrial experience and/or Ph.D?degree in?biotechnology/biochemistry or related area
• Theoretical and practical knowledge of proteomics techniques
• Previous experience of working with method development and validation
• Previous experience of participation in product development projects
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written. Corporate language is Swedish.
• Experience in project management
