hela Sverige We are now giving you the opportunity to develop in the role as Research Chemist at AkzoNobel Surface Chemistry. You will belong to the Product and Process Research team in our RD&I center in Stenungsund. The position is a one year contract due to parental leave.
As a Research Chemist you will work with the development of new products processes. By studying literature and performing experimental work, you continuously contribute to new and improved products and processes within all our technology segments. You follow the development process from start to finish and get to see results from your daily work. You might get the chance to see your product produced in ton scale!
In this central role, you will join a team with dedicated, highly skilled people and get exposure to many different application areas within AkzoNobel Surface Chemistry. You will collaborate with researchers in our segment teams, sales representatives, and co-workers at our plant. This gives you a great opportunity to build and develop your internal network.

This is a temporary position on a full time basis for 12 months, reporting to the Section Manager PPR and based in Stenungsund. • A Master degree or preferable Ph.D. within Chemistry or Chemical Engineering or related field
• 5-7 years of relevant experience within lab work
• Experience in digital tools for experimental design and retrosynthesis is desirable
• Good communications skills in Swedish and English
