As a Reporting Analyst, you would belong to the Nordic Reporting and FP&A team, which itself takes end-to-end responsibility for the management accounting operations in the Nordics. This includes, but is not limited to, managing systems and processes to ensure timely delivery of complete and high quality information for reporting and financial business partnering (steering the business performance).

The primary focus of this role is to ensure accurate and on time reporting of management results and forecasts to both the local business and the regional European hub. This is a key role in the Reporting and FP&A Team, with interfaces across all stakeholders in the business, putting you on the frontline. The role is highly involved in process improvements initiatives, as well as Business Intelligence related projects.

Ultimately there also comes an element of performance management to the business, directing and informing on key performance drivers; guiding the support needed by the wider finance team. In addition to this, the role comes with a vast amount of diversity and opportunity as you co-ordinate several business units in 4 countries, each with their own unique characteristics.

The Reporting Analyst reports to the head of Reporting and FP&A. The position is based at the Unilever Nordic Head Office in Solna Business Park, Stockholm where we offer an international and fun work environment in a fast paced industry.

Key responsibilities

• Manage month end close process to ensure timely and accurate closure of the books
• Provide monthly submissions to the regional Head Office, on time and in full.
• Land regional and global management reporting changes and implement the changes in Nordics reporting structure
• Provide transparency, insights and clarity to the Nordic organisation regarding local management reporting and the Nordic results
• Performance management of target frameworks and reporting accuracy
• Local key user for management reporting system
• Develop and perform analytics for overall business, incl. data modeling
• Support for other Reporting and FP&A analysts as required

What we're looking for

We are looking for a highly talented individual who has a passion for business and results, but also technology. Ideal candidates will be familiar with some of the latest data management techniques, analytical processing and effective delivery of relevant insights.

As a person you are analytical and have excellent attention to detail, but also capable of seeing the bigger picture. You are structured and not afraid to take initiatives. You are technical and able to handle large data sets. You are also a skilled administrator with great ability to plan and set priorities. You should be comfortable working towards tight deadlines in combination with heavy workload in month ends, which requires flexible working hours, both individually and as part of a team.

Knowledge and skills

• Strong analytical skills and high financial acumen (Financial qualification preferred)
• Experience working with large data sets preferred (e.g. with MDX, OLAP, SQL)
• An obsession for detail
• Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
• Strong engagement, presentation and communication skills
• Ability to work fluidly with data and across systems (existing reporting tools)
• Ability to present complex information in a simplified manner
• Good organisational awareness and ability to work collaboratively (particularly with stakeholders in IT and ETS)
