You will be part of the Business Unit Grid Integration, located in Västerås. Grid and Power Quality Solutions (G&PQS) technologies provide more power and control in existing AC as well as green-field networks and have minimal environmental impact. With a complete portfolio and in-house manufacturing of key components, Hitachi Energy is a reliable partner in shaping the grid of the future.

We are looking to strengthen our control application team.
Your responsibilities
In this international setting you will:
Lead and drive our test facilities and release testing hands-on in our lab.
Ensure efficient and reliable testing procedures, in order to enable high quality code releases.
Take the lead on investment plans for the equipment in the lab. And also to plan the activities within our lab, in order to maximize the utilization and value brought to the organization.
Take on the electrical responsibility and safety aspect of our Low Voltage lab.
Work with our station interface, both locally and versus remote
Train and support the organization in applying a new HMI solution in our delivery projects
Work with detailed design, system integration and test-based developmentWork in our agile teams to provide our delivery organization with new features and applications
Perform verification of our control systems
Create the next generation of control solution.- executed in test rooms and on-site

You will become part of a dedicated project team, in which we work together to handle all requirements. Collaboration is, in other words, a central part of your new position that will provide you with a great starting point in our organizationand is a key competence which will enable withyour possibilities of further career opportunities and personal growth.
Your Background
You hold a university degree within a relevant technical area along with competence and experience within testing of power systems.
Well structured and are driven to take forward efficient solutions, and to test out new functionalities within the power system domain.
If you have worked with the MACH platform or automated testing that is meritorious.
You like to act independently and to coordinate schedules, as well as working hands on with hardware, firmware and software.
You will work together with experts in the field. It is an advantage if you have worked within a SCRUM, agile or lean setup previously and also if you like to troubleshoot and test your own solutions.
You are a driven problem solver who eagerly takes initiatives and always delivers on time and according to expectations. Naturally, contributing to our continued development motivates you.
Proficient in English since you will be part of an international setting where you will get to exchange knowledge with people from all over the world.
