SFA finances more than one third of Scania's sales in these markets. Over 80 dedicated professionals manage a portfolio consisting of 15.000 trucks, buses, coaches and trailers representing around 11 bn SEK of assets. SFA is a regulated company under the supervision of the Financial Supervisory Authority ("Finansinspektionen").
Job description
As Regional Manager Scandinavia you are overall responsible for Scania Finans AB's sales and marketing operations in Sweden, Norway and Denmark, representing 70% of SFA's commercial operations. Your organisation consists of three separate branches, located in Sweden, Norway and Denmark respectively, with a total of 27 employees. Each branch is managed by a Branch Manager that reports directly to you.
As Regional Manager you are operationally responsible for strategic business and market planning, and to make sure sales and marketing activities are carried out in line with the sales and profitability targets for your region. Regular review of the business outcome is an essential part of the job. You are also responsible for the sales and administrative processes within your organization and to identify needed development of the IT-systems used by the sales organisation over time.
The Regional Manager Scandinavia is part of SFA's Management Team. The position is based at SFA's head office in Södertälje. Quite intensive travelling in Scandinavia is required.
You will drive continuous development of our business offers and working methods, both locally at each branch and in co-operation with SFA's central support functions. An important part of the job is to continue carrying out SFA's Sales & Marketing Strategy that is focused on solution sales and further operational integration with Scania Commercial Operations (Scania distributors and dealers).
You report to SFA's Sales & Marketing Director, Jacob Lithander.
Your competencies and profile
We are looking for a market-driven leader with profound experience from sales and marketing and management within captive finance companies in the automotive industry. You have the ability to capture an holistic view of our business and to engage our employees in change management. The role requires an ability to work both strategically and hands on with details. You have good interpersonal skills and ability to build long lasting relations, both internally at Scania and with customers and independent dealers.
You have a university degree and at least five years of qualified management experience. You are fluent in both spoken and written English and Swedish.
