Chief Accountant handles and develops accounting processes for Swedish companies, Shiloh UK and Shiloh Germany (UK and Germany as significantly smaller size to manage). Group reporting for the division. Possible locations: Göteborg, Forsheda, Olofström. Part-time option possible.
Responsibilities:
Responsibility for ongoing accounting, VAT and tax issues within the companies managed by the finance department;
Working actively with other functions and departments within the company to improve and develop accounting and reporting;
Prepare tax declaration containing VAT, fees, collection and foreign VAT account;
Prepare annual accounts and income tax returns for the companies the finance department manages;
Financial forecast/budget preparation;
Preparation of consolidated financial statements in collaboration with CFO and reporting to the division's CFO and the group's parent company;
Consolidated reconciliation, reconciliation reports, consolidation of the division's legal and operational structure;
Prepare legal accounts for the companies managed by the finance department, in collaboration with local factory controllers;
Develop the consolidated reporting in the division in consultation with finance department;
Make payments;
Independently drive and participate in special investigations and projects;
Follow relevant policies, procedures and instructions for the position.
Requirements:
MBA with at least 2 years of qualified experience in accounting and reporting (for example as auditor)
Very good knowledge of accounting, consolidated accounting, tax, VAT, inventory valuation and calculations in the manufacturing industry
Experience in working with the finance department's customers to improve and develop routines and working methods
Understanding and knowledge of business financial processes
Proficient in Excel
English fluency (speaking, writing)
