Senior Trainer
Job description:
Are you ready to join the exciting world of Aastra Telecom Sweden AB and grow with us? We offer you an opportunity of being on the team that will improve the global technical competence on our products globally with both our partners and Country Sales Units. You will be responsible for developing and holding training courses for Service, Support and pre-sales engineers mainly on the products; PBX MX-ONE, Call center Solidus eCare, Contact management CMG, based in Stockholm, but also travelling internationally providing on-site training to our partners and Country Sales Units.
The Stockholm training center is part of a global set-up with the ultimate goal of developing a cost efficient way of improving the global technical competence on our products of both our partners and Country Sales Units (CSUs).
Our goal is to improve efficiency and availability of training both via web and via traditional teacher led training internally and with Training Partners
• The senior trainer is responsible for the development of the training material for new product releases, for the necessary courses as defined by the new product's blue print, from the technical information from development.
• The senior trainer is also responsible for the technical planning, preparation and scheduling of the classrooms.
• Running of courses in our training center or globally on site at partner.
• Participate in training partner audits verifying the presence of adequate technical competence and equipment.
• Assist in the development of a web based training format
Required education
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Technical degree or equivalent.
OR Documented several years experience training both internal and external customers.
Competence and Skills
• Experience in training both trainers and technical service engineers
• Experience in developing, both instructor led and web based, training courses.
• Experience in working with most of the Aastra Telecom products
• Knowledge in clustering and multiple operating systems a plus
• Knowledge within mail systems and databases area also desired.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent customer interaction skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Good organizational skills.
• A willingness to learn and execute new skills
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• A proactive approach to self-development
• Willingness to travel both domestic and international.
Additional to the required skills, the Senior Trainer has to be a professional, service oriented person, who is capable of delivering training and support with a consultative approach to both customers and colleagues.
