Position: Senior Cloud Developer - Cloud UE
Previous experience: Design and development of cloud solutions in Amazon Web Services (AWS) using .NET and Node.js.
Location: Malmö, Sweden

The job
We are looking for a Developer with a passion for cloud development and technology to join our team that is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting the AVEVA Unified Engineering cloud solution using Amazon Web Services (AWS) technologies.
You will be creative and innovative, curious, and willing to learn, and want to make a difference.
Teamwork and collaboration are key as you will be working with cross-functional teams, including product management, solution architects, test teams, and DevOps professionals, to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure cloud solutions for our clients.
Key responsibilities
Design and develop cloud-based solutions on the AWS platform, adhering to best practices and architectural guidelines.
Collaborate with product owner and solution architects to understand client requirements and translate them into technical designs and implementation plans.
Implement serverless and microservices architectures using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, AWS Step Functions and other relevant AWS services and frameworks.
Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as AWS CloudFormation.
Implement and optimize data storage solutions on AWS, including DynamoDB, S3 and SQL Server relational database.
Ensure the security, scalability, and performance of Unified Engineering cloud solution by implementing appropriate AWS services and configurations and adhering to AVEVA security practices.
Collaborate with software engineering teams to integrate cloud services into application code and ensure seamless deployment and operation.
Troubleshoot identified issues in production deployments, identify performance bottlenecks, and implement optimisation strategies.
Stay up to date with AWS services, features, and general industry cloud trends, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement and innovation.
Utilize Angular to develop responsive and dynamic user interfaces that interact with backend Unified Engineering microservices.
Manage DevOps aspects throughout the development lifecycle (e.g. ensure all code is fully unit tested, documented and automatically deployable).
Collaborate with team members on work breakdown and estimates within the agile framework.
Identify and communicate technical issues and risks in a timely manner.

Ideal experience
From most to least important:
Strong experience in cloud development and AWS solution delivery.
Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Node.js and Powershell.
Hands-on experience with AWS services and technologies, including Lambda, API Gateway, EC2, S3, DynamoDB and others.
Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and use of CloudFormation.
Experience with CI/CD tools and processes like Azure DevOps.
Knowledge of Windows operating system and network technologies such as Group Policy Objects, Active Directory etc.
Understanding of networking concepts and security principles in the context of cloud environments.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively describe your solution proposals, understanding of requirements and demonstrate to others.
