About the job
You work closely with our product managers and experts, supporting them in transforming machining knowledge and tool recommendations into rules and logic feeding digital front-end applications. Your job is to confirm that all our tools have cutting data available, and you're focused on developing both new and existing digital services. Furthermore, you collaborate with front-end developers, front-end system owners, and UI/UX experts - working to improve the quality of our recommendations and fix bugs that may appear. To improve the performance of our software, you analyze data, identify patterns, and implement solutions.
We're a fully remote team, although, you have your home base in Fagersta - where we bring together the expertise of IT developers and machining specialists. We value work-life balance and embrace flexibility, remote work, and prioritize our well-being while achieving excellence.
Your profile
We're looking for someone with a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering, where a master's is considered a plus, or you have gained equivalent experience from work experience. You have advanced skills in Excel and beneficially some experience of programming in SQL. Knowledge of CAM and machining is also meritorious, as well as knowledge of Seco's product portfolio and experience from previous work in the PLM area and Enovia, teaching and ISO13399. As we act on a global stage, you have fluency in both written and verbal English, while knowledge in Swedish and other languages is an asset.
As well as your background is essential, we're equally passionate about your personality. To suit this position, you're naturally curious, love tackling challenges with new technology, and you thrive on self-motivation. Juggling tasks is also your strength - guided by an open, service-oriented attitude that embraces knowledge sharing. By working in a small, agile team, you get the chance to contribute to your growth and take on new challenges as part of your daily tasks.
