The Company has a novel treatment technology with demonstrated effectiveness against clinically important health problems for which there are limited treatment options available today. We are currently expanding our dynamic organization in Stockholm with a R&D Manager to lead our efforts in this area.
The position includes, among other things, responsibility for
• Directing research and development resources based on business needs and in collaboration with other internal departments
• The process of planning and conducting our program of product development, which encompasses several different product systems, providing required resources, staff and tools, and conducting the development according to budget
• Our lean product development processes, in accordance with ISO13485 and other relevant standards and regulatory requirements
• Initiating and managing relationships with external partners such as contract developers as well as other internal functions such as the Chief Engineer, Clinical Research Director, Quality System Manager and Medical Director
• Leading our internal technical development team. We currently have one full-time R&D engineer / Project Leader but expect to build our internal team substantially during 2012
We want you to
• Have at least ten years of experience from similar engineering work in a multi-project environment, with substantial management responsibilities
• Have understanding regulatory requirements associated with medical devices
• Be a champion for lean product development methods, such as PULS, visual planning, cross-functional teams etc.
• Have relevant higher education, preferably at Master's degree level or PhD
The position is full time and based at our office centrally located in Östermalm in Stockholm. You will report to our CEO Fredrik Juto. Rhinomed is an ISO13485 certified company.
